Global network partner

Member of the WCA Family since 2009.

WCA is one of the largest networks of independent, vetted freight forwarders in the world. Membership is not automatic — it requires meeting financial and operational criteria. Here is what that means in practice for a shipment, and what it does not mean.

In practice

What membership changes about your shipment.

A known agent at the far end Destination handling is done by an established network partner rather than a supplier sourced at short notice for a single job.
Wider routing options A larger pool of forwarders means more origin and destination pairs can be quoted without adding an extra intermediary.
Financial protection between members A mutual framework covering member-to-member exposure. It protects forwarders in the chain — it is not cargo insurance.
Shared operating standards Common expectations on documentation and communication make handovers between agents more predictable.

What it is not. Network membership is not a delivery guarantee, not a performance warranty and not cargo insurance. Where cover matters to you, ask us and we will set out the insurance options for that specific movement.

Membership is only useful where it attaches to services we actually run. These are the ones it touches most often.

Shipping to a market we do not have an office in?

That is exactly what the network is for. Send us the lane and we will confirm the routing and the agent.

Questions

WCA membership questions

What is the WCA Family network?

WCA is a global network of independent freight forwarders who work together on shipments, share market knowledge and operate a mutual financial protection framework between members. Members are vetted on financial and operational criteria rather than simply signing up.

How does WCA membership actually help my shipment?

It means that at the far end of your movement there is usually an established, vetted partner already in place, rather than a supplier found at short notice. Handovers between origin and destination agents are governed by shared network standards.

Does WCA membership guarantee my cargo or its delivery?

No. WCA membership is a network arrangement between forwarders, including a financial protection framework covering member-to-member exposure. It is not cargo insurance and it is not a delivery guarantee. Cargo insurance is arranged separately — ask us and we will explain the options.

Is WCA membership the same as being a customs broker?

No. WCA membership is a forwarder network. Customs brokerage is a separate regulated activity, which we carry out with our own in-house team.
